Job description

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Business Process Analyst I with a Secret clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer in Washington, DC.

This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Kadiak, LLC is seeking an experienced, motivated, career- and customer-oriented Business Process Analyst I.

The Business Process Analyst Level I shall evaluate business processes and workflows, make practical recommendations for process improvements, and assist with the implementation and validation of any process changes.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  1. Perform complex analysis in an evolving data environment.
  2. Collect, monitor, and analyze process metrics to identify trends and opportunities for potential improvement.
  3. Complete projects that require data mining, analysis, and presentation.
  4. Focus on solutions, dive into projects, and quickly identify drivers in the data.
  5. Identify relevant trends, do follow-up analysis, and prepare visualizations.
  6. Develop dashboards to track remediation of issues.
  7. Design and execute business process improvement studies, including collecting and analyzing relevant data, interviewing personnel, researching best practices and relevant benchmarks, analyzing costs and benefits of alternatives, and formulating and presenting recommendations.
  8. Assist management in implementing process improvements, developing implementation plans, preparing training materials for process changes, monitoring the implementation, and recommending any needed refinements.
  9. Conduct comparative process assessments across locations to identify opportunities for increased standardization, knowledge transfer of best practices, and potential workload sharing.
  10. Draft white papers.
Requirements:
  1. Analytical skills including ability to design and execute business process studies.
  2. Excellent written and oral communication skills to draft analytical reports, communicate with management, conduct data collection interviews, and present results, conclusions, and recommendations.
  3. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  4. Experience with change management techniques that facilitate adoption of new or revised work processes.
  5. Strong technical business process analysis and interpersonal skills.
  6. Secret clearance required.
Education:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree.
  2. Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  3. Two (2) years of experience in business process reengineering, statistical data analysis.
  4. Four (4) years of experience utilizing office software including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Outlook, SharePoint.
  5. Advanced experience with MS SharePoint and MS Access.
  6. Ability to organize workflow.
  7. Experience with change management techniques that facilitate adoption of new or revised work processes.
  8. Experience with statistics, data analysis, and data-driven computation.
