Overview

Title: Loan Boarding Analyst I

Location: Remote

Pay: $55k to $65k a year

• Position Summary: This individual’s primary role is to work closely with NLB Sr. Analyst in the following daily functions; monitor the newly originated Loans as they fund in Encompass and boarded to MSP via datastring loaded to Loan Boarding. Ensure all loans have loaded and all tasks are opened to each BU as outlined in the NLB Analyst procedures and job aids. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot issues, testing and proofreading documents are required for this position.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load daily datastring to Loan Boarding
• Work Day 2 exception reporting
• Change in values reporting
• Repurchase loans – Obtain preliminary and final data reports, set loan up in New Loan workstation, track for images, documents and trailing funds, ensuring tasks are opened to all BU’s.
• Works closely with NLB AVP, Supervisor(s) on identifying loan reconciliation issues, unfund/ refunding of loans
• Mapping and Testing of any new products that may not be offered currently
• Ability to observe, identify and translate data.
• Review reports for loans with any post-closing changes requiring system updates or changes.
• Analyst will be required to open tickets with ICE as needed and follow ticket to resolution.

Qualifications

Desired Competencies:

• Has knowledge of commonly used terminology, concepts and practices and procedures within the mortgage industry and knowledge of mortgage loan products.
• Knowledge of MSP, Encompass and ability to adapt to or navigate different software interfaces.
• Ability to meet time deadlines while working under pressure.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to balance simultaneous tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. Able to work autonomously.
• Excellent business math skills.
• Analytical and organized; solutions oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong PC skills. Must be proficient in MS Windows, MS Outlook, MS Office Suite.
• Exercise sound judgment and excellent independent decision-making skills.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.

Desired Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• The ideal candidate should be a highly successful mortgage servicing professional with the following:
• 4+ years experience.
• Experience working on various change management functions or projects.
• Overall, 2+ years Mortgage Servicing or other relevant financial services industry experience.
• Understands how to capture business requirements, testing changes.
