Job summary

Revenue Cycle Coding Strategies, LLC is seeking a Business Analyst/Process Improvement professional to analyze internal and client data to optimize business processes and manage improvement initiatives. The role focuses on cross-functional project management and data-driven decision making.

You will collect and validate data, map current and future state processes, develop KPIs and dashboards, and present findings to clients and leadership. Healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Job description

SCOPE/GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

This position will analyze internal and client information to improve business processes and strategies as well as manage process improvement initiatives.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management and Meeting Facilitation



  • Lead and facilitate cross functional teams to define business strategies and requirements to translate into actionable tasks

  • Understand internal and client needs to effectively manage projects


Data Analysis



  • Collect and validate data for internal and client projects

  • Analyze process, volume and financial information and effectively communicate key findings


Process Mapping



  • Assess and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop current and future state process flowcharts


Process Improvement



  • Use continuous process improvement techniques to streamline and automate workflows

  • Effectively incorporate data analysis, project management and AI tools to streamline work product development

  • Proactively examine the impact of process changes on the organization


Data Visualization



  • Effectively summarize process findings into visuals and documents for internal and client projects

  • Produce high-quality deliverables, ex. data charts, information summaries, flowcharts, organizational charts, recommendations, project updates and presentations

  • Develop KPIs and dashboards

  • Other duties as assigned


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor’s Degree (Industrial Engineer with focus on business processes), Business Analyst, or equivalent

  • 2+ years of experience preferred but not a requirement

  • Healthcare experience preferred but not a requirement

  • Experience managing multiple projects


QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical Skills



  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency

  • Experience with programming is preferred but not required (ex. SQL, Python)

  • Experience with dashboard development is preferred but not required (ex. PowerBI, Tableau)

  • Experience with process flow software is preferred but not required

  • Experience with project management software is preferred but not required


Business Skills



  • Strong knowledge of business process/lifecycle management principles, theories, and concepts.

  • Strong data and process analytical skills

  • Strong project management skills with flexibility to manage multiple projects from a variety of internal staff and external clients

  • Strong critical thinking and active listening skills

  • Ability to use independent judgment to identify root causes of problems and develop solutions

  • Self-starter and proactive with project assignments

  • Effective time management skills

  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information


Communication Skills


  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills to accurately document and report findings to a variety of audiences

  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with employees, leadership, and clients.
