The Department of Public Works is accepting applications for a Business Process Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team to develop and implement a new GIS-based Asset Management system that is crucial to the efficiency of multiple Divisions of the Department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving change and optimizing systems and will be able to successfully collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to enhance the business processes that keep Placer County running smoothly.
The eligible list established as a result of this recruitment may be used to fill additional vacancies as they arise, subject to position-specific requirements. Minimum qualifications include 3 years of increasingly responsible experience conducting professional, quantitative analysis of financial, programmatic, and/or operational business data utilizing business analytics methodologies, as well as developing and presenting process improvement recommendations, and the equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in management information systems, business administration, public administration, business analytics, accounting, finance, human resources, computer science, office automation, or a closely related field. Relevant, equivalent experience (performing the same or similar job requiring similar knowledge, skills, and abilities) may be substituted for the required education as determined by the Human Resources Department. *Applicants receiving their degree outside the United States must submit proof of accreditation by a recognized evaluation agency.
