GENERAL FUNCTION

The Business Planning Manager plans, implements, and monitors the internal service structure and key processes based upon future growth expectations, reporting system, and program tracking, including sales tools designing, scheduled sales forecasting, and budget planning. Also responsible for special projects and new business partnerships with accounts.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and forecast sales targets (volume + distribution) on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis for COT.
  • Work with all concerned departments to design, maintain, and monitor reports and trackers needed for the COT, related to sales, orders, inventory.
  • Design sales tools to maximize sales force impact.
  • Track and align with Finance on channel operating expenses compared to budget expectations on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Facilitate the annual budget process by planning and coordinating with sales directors and cross-functional teams to ensure key deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain, analyze, and work with planning to monitor the COT demand according to sales trends.
  • Collaborate with sales ops, warehouse, and inventory planning to research and implement channel-specific supply chain requirements and streamline opportunities.
  • Work with department heads to create account-specific proposals and project planning based on negotiated terms and expectations, evaluating profitability with internal resources.
  • Monitor performance and profitability on an individual project basis once executed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
  • 5+ years’ experience in Business Administration, Project Management, and/or Strategy Management/Consulting
  • Ability to think strategically and deliver strong execution
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities, research solutions, and implement new processes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with initiative and sense of urgency
  • Problem-solving skills involving multiple departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with SAP and Business Objects
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
