Business Operations Manager - Capacity Planning

Business Operations Manager - Capacity Planning Responsibilities

Drive understanding for how Meta can drive different business results through various different infrastructure investment opportunities

Propose and align with product business partners on which business metrics should be used to optimize infrastructure spend. Build mechanisms to track actual business results over time

Create and manage an operational tradeoff framework for how to distribute infrastructure between different product units given macro infrastructure constraints

Partner with product business partners to build long range demand forecasts needed to obtain desired business goals on a quarterly cadence

Create standardized reporting to represent Infra spend on a per product group basis

Provide objective recommendations on resource allocation, spend management. Follow-up on execution of action plans

Influence business direction through strategic thinking and communications

Minimum Qualifications

7+ years of experience in business strategy, finance, analytics, or planning experience

BS, BA, or MS in Economics, Business, Math, Statistics, or other quantitative field

Experience driving processes and influencing decision-making across levels and functions (Finance, Product, and Business)

Experience using SQL to synthesize large datasets and inform business decisions

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or MS in quantitative field

Experience as a finance partner to Engineering leaders

Data visualization tools experience (e.g., Tableau)

Highly skilled at framing ambiguous issues, problem solving, and synthesizing business insights

Experience problem-solving individually and in a group setting

$159,000/year to $225,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
