Job description

Job Description

Mythical Games is a venture-backed game technology company powering the next generation of players, games, and studios. Our goal is to launch exceptional video games that leverage distributed ledger technology while providing a platform for other game developers to do the same.

At Mythical Games, we are proud of our 'People First' culture. We believe that great people and culture are essential to creating great products. By treating each other with empathy and respect, we can lead fulfilling lives outside of work while producing exceptional work.

This is a unique opportunity to join a small, high-impact team that operates at the core of the company. As our Business Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for designing, managing, and refining the business rhythm across Mythical—from executive team syncs to board preparations, cross-functional initiative tracking, and investor relations. You'll work closely with leadership to ensure alignment, accountability, and momentum.

What You'll Do:

  1. Orchestrate Company Rhythm: Build and maintain the operational cadence for leadership meetings, planning cycles, and key decision forums.
  2. Drive Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with the COO and Chief of Staff to define, track, and execute strategic priorities.
  3. Manage Investor Relations: Support investor communications and data preparation in coordination with the CEO, COO, and CFO, including updates, due diligence materials, and performance tracking.
  4. Manage the Admin team: Lead a small team of Admins and Executive Admins supporting the C-suite, including travel arrangements, calendar management, communications, expense reports, and other tasks to ensure smooth executive functions.
  5. Connect the Dots: Serve as a central hub between teams, ensuring alignment, removing roadblocks, and enabling smooth execution.
  6. Operationalize the Board: Manage logistics and preparation for Board of Directors meetings, including agenda setting, materials, and follow-ups.
  7. Enable Scaling: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies as the company grows and work cross-functionally to address them.
  8. Own Special Projects: Lead urgent or important projects across GTM, Product, or Corporate functions as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, program management, consulting, bizops, or related fields
  • 1+ years of people management experience
  • 2+ years of game industry experience
  • Proven track record working with senior leadership and driving cross-functional execution
  • Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, with excellent communication skills
  • Strong business intuition, bias toward action, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in gaming required; experience in consumer tech or web3 is a plus

Why You Might Love This Role:

  • You thrive in ambiguity and enjoy creating order from chaos
  • You want to help scale a company at the forefront of gaming and technology
  • You like working with talented, fast-moving people who care about their craft
  • You are excited by building something new and innovative

The expected base salary range varies by location and is part of Mythical's total compensation, which includes bonuses and equity.
