The Business Data Operations Analyst conducts analysis to prevent and resolve market issues, working closely with Health Plan leadership and operational teams to identify trends, perform gap and root cause analysis, and collaborate on solutions. The role requires strong business analysis skills to gather requirements for successful changes and issue resolutions.

This fast-paced environment demands multitasking, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. You can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. and take on meaningful challenges.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for member and provider satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and cost savings.
  • Translate feedback from providers, regulators, and team members into actionable items.
  • Research analytical findings to identify and address root causes.
  • Lead claim projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure completion.
  • Communicate business and technical requirements with technology stakeholders.
  • Gather information to define requirements and future state.
  • Understand and communicate project steps for remediation.
  • Alert operational leaders to gaps for coaching and closure.
  • Serve as a liaison between the plan and various functional areas.
  • Solve moderately complex problems and conduct analyses.
  • Work independently, seeking guidance only for complex tasks.
  • Document issues and resolutions for visibility.
  • Define and conduct testing or quality assurance for business changes.
  • Prioritize projects with leadership and engage resources accordingly.
Required Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of operational experience, including with CSP Facets claims tools.
  • 2+ years of business analysis experience, with strong requirements gathering skills.
  • Experience with front-end reporting tools like Orbit.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts.
  • Experience in process improvement and business workflow evaluation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in health plans or healthcare.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and/or Medicare.
  • Experience with medical claims technology.
  • SQL skills.
  • Ability to work aligned with Eastern Time Zone hours.

The hourly range is $28.61 to $56.06, based on full-time employment, experience, and other factors. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k.
