Job description

Onondaga Center is looking for a Building Office Manager (BOM) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Minoa, NY.

DUTIES:
  1. Meeting with residents and families to discuss their financial obligations.
  2. Assisting with gathering documentation for Medicaid applicants.
  3. Inputting census information into billing and clinical software.
  4. Collecting private and income monies owed to the facility.
  5. Assisting with the insurance authorization process.
  6. Distributing resident funds.
  7. Ensuring all admission agreements are signed.
  8. Performing other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and HMO processes is a plus.
  2. High comfort level with meeting residents and families to discuss and advise on their financial obligations.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
  4. Highly detailed and organized.
