Business Office Manager at Waxahachie - Long Term Care

Focused Post Acute Care Partners (FPACP) is a dynamic company committed to excellence in long-term care. We are seeking a Business Office Manager to join our team!

Position Summary

The Business Office Manager oversees administrative functions, billing, and bookkeeping in compliance with State and Federal regulations. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to work effectively with residents, families, and external agencies. The role requires organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and the ability to work efficiently amidst interruptions.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in Medicaid billing requirements
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM or higher
  • Experience with Point Click Care, RFMS, Simple LTC is a plus
Essential Functions
  • Maintain and reconcile Resident Trust Fund accounts
  • Track and research all resident Medicaid applications and pending accounts
  • Review outstanding balances and initiate collection steps
  • Monitor, track, and process collections
  • Open and distribute facility mail
  • Deposit accounts receivable and Trust Funds as needed
  • Process resident admission paperwork
  • Request refunds promptly
  • Assist with Accounts Payable as needed
  • Complete and submit occupancy and death reports monthly
  • Participate in weekly Triple Check and URL meetings
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with residents and families
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements

Ability to perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
