TerraBella Senior Living is the proud operator of more than 30 communities focused on amenities, care, and lifestyle, located throughout the Carolinas, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee. These communities account for over 2,200 units and offer a spectrum of senior living options, including Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and short-term Respite Care.

TerraBella Senior Living is looking for a Business Office Manager to join our community in Spartanburg.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit documentation for resident move-ins, move-outs, transfers, and ancillary charges.
  • Oversee cash controls, including deposits, posting cash receipts, and petty cash monitoring.
  • Maintain daily cashbooks, prepare monthly bank reconciliations, and oversee accounts payable processing.
  • Ensure departmental expenses and supporting documentation are properly assigned and maintained.
  • Coordinate payroll, employee benefits, insurance payments, taxes, and related reports.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain sub-schedules for Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Review and distribute monthly financial statements.
  • Prepare management reports as needed.
  • Maintain files for team members, residents, vendors, and finances according to policies.
  • Handle billing and collection issues with residents.
  • Oversee resident files, records, and reports.
  • Manage community HR functions, including new hire orientation and payroll paperwork.
  • Manage open positions via ATS and job postings; coordinate scheduling for Concierge team members.
  • Set up and oversee private accounts for Health Center residents and ensure compliance with guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with one year of experience, or
  • Associate's degree in Accounting with two to three years of related experience.
