TerraBella Senior Living is the proud operator of more than 30 communities across the Carolinas, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee. These communities offer a spectrum of senior living options, including Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and short-term Respite Care.

Position: Business Office Manager

Location: TerraBella Spartanburg

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit documentation for resident move-ins, move-outs, transfers, and ancillary charges.
  • Oversee cash controls, including deposits, cash receipts, and petty cash management.
  • Maintain daily cashbooks, prepare monthly bank reconciliations, and oversee accounts payable processing.
  • Ensure departmental expenses and supporting documentation are properly managed.
  • Coordinate payroll, employee benefits, and related reporting.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain balance sheet schedules.
  • Review and distribute monthly financial statements and prepare management reports.
  • Maintain files for team members, residents, vendors, and finances according to policies.
  • Handle billing and collection issues with residents.
  • Oversee resident files, records, and reports.
  • Manage community Human Resources functions, including new hire orientation and paperwork.
  • Manage open positions via ATS, handle job postings, and schedule team members.
  • Set up and oversee resident/patient accounts in the Health Center, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least one year of experience, or
  • Associate's degree in Accounting with 2-3 years of related experience.
