• Lead and supervise business office staff, materials management, and medical records functions.
• Oversee accounts receivable, billing, collections, scheduling, registration, and cash management.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close, financial reporting, and key performance metrics.
• Partner with the CBO to monitor AR, collections, and billing accuracy.
• Ensure insurance verification and authorizations are completed prior to service.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and facility policies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeon offices and practice staff.
• Support budgeting, payroll coordination, and operational reporting with the Administrator.

Location: Short Pump CV Ambulatory Surgery Center

Address: 4221 Bon Secours Parkway, Suite 100, Henrico, VA 23233

Short Pump CV Ambulatory Surgery Center is an ASC located in Henrico, VA. With one procedure room, the center will provide high-quality, cost-effective outpatient cardiovascular care, including diagnostic heart catheterization, coronary interventions, peripheral interventions, and pacemaker and implantable cardiac device procedures.

Owned and operated in partnership with BSMH and Compass Surgical Partners (an ASC management organization), the center will combine advanced technology with compassionate, patient-centered care in a convenient outpatient setting.

Anticipated hire date in January 2027 ahead of center opening in Feb 2027.

Role Summary

The Business Office Manager leads the center’s business office functions and serves as a core member of the facility leadership team. The role integrates patient access, scheduling, registration, revenue‑cycle coordination, medical‑record workflow, patient rights, privacy, customer service, and administrative controls to support safe, efficient, compliant, and financially responsible operations. The Business Office Manager partners with the CEO/Administrator and Director of Nursing to ensure front‑end processes, records, staff practices, and supporting evidence are reliable every day and readily retrievable during surveys.

Hours:

• Monday–Friday schedule

• No nights, weekends, holidays, or call

What You’ll Do:
