Job summary

The Rochester Rehab & Living Center is seeking a Business Office Manager in Rochester, MN. This role involves managing data processing functions such as Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Resident Trust Funds, within a compassionate healthcare setting that prioritizes residents and staff.

You’ll bring bookkeeping experience and strong communication skills to support financial operations and vendor inquiries, with opportunities for growth and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree with major concentration in bookkeeping/data processing or 3+ years bookkeeping/data processing experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Minimum 1 year as a full-charge bookkeeper, preferably in a healthcare setting; Medicare/Medicaid billing desirable.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Receivable/Payable, Payroll, Census, and Resident Trust Funds.
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable and prepare adjustments as needed.
• Respond to vendors' accounting/payments questions.
• Oversee payroll-related responsibilities.

Pay Range: $70,600-$84,400 based on years of experience
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Associate Degree with major concentration in areas of bookkeeping or data processing, or three years bookkeeping or data processing experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Minimum one-year experience as a full charge bookkeeper, preferably in a healthcare setting. Medicare and Medicaid billing experience is desirable.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Performs all data processing functions on the facility computer including, but not limited to, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Census and Resident Trust Funds.
• Reconciles all Accounts Receivable and prepares adjustments as necessary.
• Responds to vendors’ questions regarding accounting and payment problems.
• Oversees specific responsibilities relating to the Payroll function of the facility.
