The Business Office Manager’s primary duty consists of managing and overseeing the accounting and general bookkeeping of the facility. The Business Office Manager may be required to work additional hours at the Executive Director’s request.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Professionally greets visitors and directs inquiries in a positive, service-oriented mannerProfessionally answers phones and accepts appropriate information or messages. Provides backup to receptionist as needPromotes and maintain positive relations with residents, their families, staff, and guestsProvides marketing tours and arranges marketing meals, as appropriateParticipates in the recruiting, interviewing, evaluation and supervision of receptionist staff and provides general direction to these employees to ensure staff hours, quality services, and customer service is met at all timesAssists the Executive Director and key department leaders with pre-employment screening of new hiresReceives and distribute mail to appropriate personnel and residentsRegularly updates staff bulletin boards, resident bulletin boards, and other related communication areasReceives and records monthly rental and other payments. Updates A/R system as neededUpdate the A/R system daily with all census changes; move-ins, move-outs, transfers, and level of care changesMonitors and collects all past due rents in a timely manner to include working with Medicaid case managers, residents, family members and/or responsible partiesMaintains resident, employee and other business filesPrepares semi-monthly payroll report for staff. Submits hours to Payroll Department for processingEnters all new employee information, wage changes, address changes, and employee termination information into the intranet websiteCommunicate with the Staff Accounting as often as necessary to ensure that A/P, A/R, and payroll processes are operating smoothly and to resolve any issues in a timely manner.Other duties as assignedFrontier Senior Living offers a competitive salary and a work environment that encourages initiative and fosters respect.
