We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual with previous experience to fill the role of Full Service Bookkeeper in a busy small business office. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who is extremely organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, understands the importance of accuracy, is amazing at problem-solving, and has a stellar work ethic.

The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, be able to handle a multitude of responsibilities, and have excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

Job Summary:

  • Extensive QuickBooks Experience required
  • Responsible for data entry and maintaining the accuracy of accounting system data.
  • Reports to the Business Owner in a well-established Small Business.

Job Duties:

  • Requires high attention to detail and ability to adopt necessary procedures quickly.
  • Process invoices, prepare and mail checks for payment.
  • Manage accounts receivables and payables.
  • Enter approved bills and credit card charges.
  • Prepare bank deposits.
  • Enter customer credit card payments online to the Merchant account.
  • Reconcile multiple bank, credit card, and merchant accounts.
  • Respond to emails and customers' phone calls.
  • Maintain general ledger.
  • Prepare monthly and year-end financial reports.

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of bookkeeping and related experience with QuickBooks.
  • Microsoft Office skill proficiency, including preparation of Excel spreadsheet reports.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Hours: 8-5 pm M-F on-site only. Virtual Bookkeepers should not apply. You will not be considered for this job.
