Join to apply for the Business Office Manager role at The Hilltop at Blue River.

We are seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to join our team at The Hilltop of Blue River, a skilled nursing facility.

Must have experience in Medicare/Medicaid applications and claims.

Job Duties

The Business Office Manager (BOM) will oversee the Business Office activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations. Responsibilities include managing Resident Funds, Census Records, and coordinating efforts with Quality Healthcare Services.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Follow the PCC daily, weekly, and month-end task lists.
  • Ensure completion of the Daily Census Verification process.
  • Record all room, ancillary, and miscellaneous charges promptly in PCC.
  • Follow the RUG Billing Triple Check Process consistently.
  • Manage private pay billing and the Centralized Statement process.
  • Handle Medicare ADRs and appeals according to procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associate’s Degree in Business or Accounting, or experience in healthcare business office operations preferred.
  • Effective communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, and external agencies.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintain a neat, professional appearance.
