We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Business Office Manager to join our leadership team and help enrich the lives of those we serve.
The Business Office Manager plays a critical role in the financial and administrative operations of the facility. This position oversees resident financial services, Medicaid processes, accounts receivable, and trust funds, while also supporting human resources functions including onboarding, personnel file maintenance, and compliance support. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and experienced in skilled nursing facility operations.

Business Office & Financial Operations
Maintain accurate and complete financial records for all residents
Process and track Medicaid applications; verify payer sources and eligibility
Manage accounts receivable, billing, and collections; utilize AR aging reports in PCC
Maintain, reconcile, and audit Resident Trust Funds
Assist the Admissions Department with admissions, discharges, payer changes, and census updates
Participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and Accounts Receivable meetings
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and assist with plans of correction
Human Resources Support
Assist with new-hire onboarding, orientation, and employment documentation
Maintain employee personnel files in compliance with regulatory requirements
Support payroll preparation, timecard review, and employee data accuracy
Assist leadership with employee relations, policy adherence, and compliance tracking
Coordinate HR-related audits and surveys as needed
Leadership & Operations
Serve as Weekend Supervisor as part of a department-head rotation
Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and external agencies
Support facility leadership with administrative and operational needs
Minimum 2 years of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) business office experience
Previous experience with HR or payroll functions in a healthcare setting preferred
Working knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles
Familiarity with regulations including JCAHO, OBRA, IDPA, and HFS
Strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills
Compassionate, respectful approach toward the elderly
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
