Purpose of Your Job Position
The primary purpose of your job position is to direct the overall Business Office activities in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as directed by the Administrator, to ensure proper administrative procedures are maintained at all times in accordance with current standards, guidelines, regulations, and Solaris HealthCare’s policies and procedures.

- Staff the department with capable personnel; plan work considering performance and skills; terminate employees when necessary.
- Ensure employees are adequately trained; assist in developing their skills and understanding their role in Solaris Healthcare operations.
- Set clear objectives and job expectations; provide guidance and supervision; optimize employee skills; review performance; recommend promotions; ensure proper compensation; recognize excellence; set a good example.
- Empower employees with decision-making authority for their tasks.
- Counsel and discipline personnel as needed.
- Maintain effective communication; understand employee needs; convey attitudes and expectations; manage personal information; suggest policy changes when employee needs are unmet.
- Eliminate or control safety/health hazards; provide safety training.

Education
Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, or two (2) years of relevant experience.
Experience
Previous experience in business office operations preferred.
