Job summary

Baylor Surgicare at Oakmont is seeking a PRN Business Office Float to support our daily operations under the Business Office Manager. The role covers scheduling, insurance verification, financial counseling, patient calls, chart building and payment posting in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical setting.

This position is weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, nights or on-call duties. USPI and Baylor Surgicare emphasize exceptional customer service, strong teamwork, and accurate, confidential

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 years of hospital or medical office experience required.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
• Ability to use time wisely in preparing work area to meet high-paced demand.
• Strong medical terminology.
• Must demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills

• Under the direction of the Business Office Manager, is responsible for covering any aspect of the business office necessary. Many duties include scheduling, insurance verification, financial counseling, patient calls, chart building and payment posting.
