Business Member Service Representative

The Business Member Service Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional service to credit union members by assisting with business account and loan needs, transactions, and inquiries. This role serves as a primary point of contact, building strong relationships while identifying opportunities to educate members on products and services that support their financial well-being. The Business Member Service Representative ensures accuracy, security, and compliance in all interactions, contributing to a positive member experience and the overall success of the credit union. This position will assist in fulfilling the mission of the credit union and will create and maintain loyalty with both internal and external members and vendors. Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to both internal and external members and demonstrate a strong commitment to the organization's Do More Good culture by fostering a positive work environment and promoting our core values in all interactions.
  • Open, maintain, and close business member deposit and loan accounts; assist with account changes and service requests.
  • Assist with commercial cash management services by supporting business members, monitoring service usage, processing related requests, resolving account issues, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure accurate and efficient cash management operations.
  • Consistently identify the needs of members and recommend appropriate credit union solutions in order to build member loyalty and meet or exceed organizational goals.
  • Resolve member inquiries and issues promptly while ensuring a positive experience and strong member relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all transactions are completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and adhere to all regulatory requirements, security protocols, and internal controls to protect member information and credit union assets.
  • Own internal and external member problems, issues and complaints and ensure the appropriate follow up to achieve proper resolution.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance departmental efficiency, reduce costs, and support overall organizational goals.
