Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior finance leader to head program financial management, including forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis across multiple programs. You will oversee a small team and partner with program management and cross-functional teams to align on EAC, risk, and investment planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; 10 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree with 7 years of experience.
• Experience leading teams of professionals, including assigning work and reviewing deliverables.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Experience managing financial activities across a portfolio of programs or production environments.
• Experience supporting AOP, EAC, and LRP processes; EVMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, and U.S. government representatives on program financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
• Oversee cost controls, financial planning, and financial reporting processes across assigned programs.
• Supports investments with coordination across multiple stakeholders.
• Regular interaction with program leadership, finance teams, and government partners.
• Responsible for financial planning, analysis, and governance across assigned efforts.
• Execute financial planning processes, including AOP and LRP.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration & a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience; OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 7 years prior relevant experience


• Experience leading teams of professionals, including assigning work and reviewing deliverables


• Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting established deadlines


• Experience managing financial activities across a portfolio of programs or production environments


• Experience supporting Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Estimate at Completion (EAC), and Long Range Planning (LRP) processes; Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience preferred
