Job summary

Premier Financial Search is seeking a Business Manager in West Los Angeles to own a portfolio of high net worth clients in the entertainment sector. You will serve as their trusted financial advisor, guiding day-to-day finances, budgets, and tax planning while mentoring the accounting team.

The role offers a hybrid schedule (1–2 remote days weekly) and a base salary range of $150,000–$225,000, depending on experience. This is a stable, non-PE-owned platform.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a book of high-net-worth clients.
• Background serving entertainment clients or similar high-profile accounts.
• Strong accounting and tax knowledge; CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead point of contact for a roster of clients, coordinating with their agents, managers, attorneys, and other advisors.
• Oversee clients' day-to-day financial affairs, including cash management, bill pay, and accounting staff support.
• Build and manage budgets, cash flow projections, and monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Track and reconcile income from contracts, royalties, and residuals.
• Partner with the tax team on tax planning, estimated payments, and year-end preparation.
• Advise clients on insurance, retirement planning, major purchases, and financing alongside outside investment and legal professionals.
• Mentor and review the work of account managers and associates.

This role is ideal for a current business manager seeking a stable, non-PE-owned platform, a hybrid schedule (1–2 remote days per week), and a base salary of $150,000–$225,000, depending on experience.

• Background serving entertainment or high net worth clients
• Strong accounting and tax fundamentals; CPA preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Excel; Agilink experience strongly preferred
• Polished, discreet communication with high-profile clients
• Exceptional organization and follow-through across many clients and deadlines
