The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office of Dentons Cohen & Grigsby P.C. is seeking an associate with 3‑5 years of civil litigation experience in business and commercial litigation to join our highly regarded Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. The successful candidate will have outstanding academic credentials and experience in sophisticated, high‑stakes litigation. The role involves managing cases from inception to conclusion and contributing to the team and client advisory.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from inception to conclusion.
• Conduct factual investigations and research, interact with clients.
• Draft research memos, motions, briefs, pleadings and discovery materials.
• Research relevant case law, statutes and regulations.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions, and argue motions.
• Conduct and manage all aspects of discovery, including e‑discovery.
• Prepare for, assist in and conduct hearings and trials.
• Assist in business development and marketing opportunities.

Position requirements

• 3‑5 years of commercial litigation experience.
