Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP in Los Angeles, CA, Newport Beach, CA, and Orange County seeks a Business Litigation Associate to join our national, full‑service firm. The role focuses on complex litigation within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of litigation experience, proficiency in discovery, depositions, pleadings, and motions, and a track record of effective advocacy. A strong academic record and a willingness to mentor juniors are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of litigation experience within a Business Litigation Practice Group.
• Experience with written discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings and substantive motions.
• Skilled in attending mediations, court appearances, and assisting at trials and arbitrations.
• Trusts and estates litigation experience is a plus.
• Strong academic record with excellent research and writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Los Angeles, Newport Beach, and Orange County offices of FBT Gibbons are seeking a Business Litigation Associate.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is$210,000-$225,000, reflecting a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.

Associates are also eligible for:

Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum objective bonus opportunities ranging from approximately$14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level

Annual subjective bonus
