Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP's Los Angeles, Newport Beach, and Orange County offices are seeking a Business Litigation Associate. The firm is a national, full‑service firm with 800+ attorneys across 26 offices, offering a collaborative culture and mentorship in a hybrid work environment.

The associate will handle discovery, depositions, pleadings, and motions in a dynamic practice. Qualified candidates will have a strong academic record, writing and research skills, and the ability to work well in a team

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of litigation experience in a Business Litigation Practice Group
• Experience with written discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings and substantive motions
• Skilled in attending mediations, court appearances, and assisting at trials and arbitrations
• Trusts and estates litigation experience is a plus
• Strong academic record with excellent research and writing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of litigation experience within a Business Litigation Practice Group
• Experience with written discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings and substantive motions
• Skilled in attending mediations, court appearances, and assisting at trials and arbitrations
• Trusts and estates litigation experience is a plus
• Strong academic record with excellent research and writing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Compensation

The salary range for this role is$210,000-$225,000, reflecting a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.

Associates are also eligible for:

Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum objective bonus opportunities ranging from approximately$14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level

Annual subjective bonus
