Job summary

Mountain America Credit Union in Sandy, Utah is seeking a Business Lending Internship to support the team with loan analysis duties. Under direct supervision, you will assist in credit analysis, underwriting, and financial reviews for commercial and SBA loans, with exposure to origination and portfolio activities.

The role offers flexible hours in-office and provides an opportunity to shadow various Business Lending areas, including origination, Specialty/Construction lending, and portfolio

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; business degree preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and carry out instructions in written and oral form.

Responsibilities

• Assist loan officers with gathering financial packages for underwriting.
• Organize required items for loan fundings.
• Underwrite commercial real estate, SBA, C&I, and specialty loan requests.
• Analyze repayment ability and personal cash flow.
• Review credit reports and real estate appraisals.
