KeyBank invites ambitious students to join its Commercial Banking internship in Salt Lake City, UT. The 10.5‑week program focuses on credit/lending with exposure to senior bankers and analysts, plus mentorship and real client-facing projects.

Interns gain experience across lending, treasury services, advisory support, and cross‑team collaboration while benefiting from networking, labs, and a capstone project that showcases analytical and relationship management skills.

Qualifications

• Completed at least two years toward a four‑year undergraduate degree with coursework in finance, accounting, economics or data science (preferred) with anticipated graduation by May 2028.
• Outstanding undergraduate GPA (3.3+).
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past roles or activities.
• Strong quantitative and critical thinking abilities.
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Professional conduct.

Responsabilités

• Learn to analyze commercial loan requests including reviewing financial statement spreads.
• Calculate key financial ratios.
• Analyze the borrowers’ business and financial integrity.
• Work with designated teams to ensure accuracy of credit system data.
• Collaborate with clients to collect financial statements for performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers and Salesforce for pipeline activity accuracy.
• Complete a Capstone Project leveraging internship learnings in credit, business analytics and client-facing deliverables/pitches.
• Perform other duties to support relationship management goals.
