What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with business users to identify, analyze, and document business requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI
- Collect and transform data from multiple sources into a structured format for analysis
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency within the BI solutions
- Provide training and support to end-users to optimize the use of Power BI for their reporting needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Proven experience of at least 5 years as a BI Specialist or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including creating complex visualizations, measures, and DAX calculations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps for creating custom applications and improving process efficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent certification
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as Azure SQL Database or Google BigQuery
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or R, for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with advanced Power BI features and concepts such as Field Parameters and Row-Level Security (RLS)
