Location:Bristol (office 1 day per week, rest of week wfh)

Salary: £55000 per annum

Our client requires a Business Intelligence Team Lead / Manager, to lead and manage a team of Business Analysts and develop the BI capability. Working on defence inventory/logistics projects, its preferable if you have worked in the Defence sector but is not essential.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Mentor and support development of the business analysts and BI capability.
• Support the development of change requests from the customer.
• Support the development of processes and systems to improve business performance.
• Support the control and administration of planning parameters.
• Support inventory planning activity through data analysis and process improvement design
• Support the Inventory Planning team, monitoring output quality and productivity in line with business priorities
• Lead MI Reporting, and internal Business Performance measures and monitoring
• Continual development of reporting suite and engagement to ensure understanding of data and reporting requirements

Skills and Experience:

• Fully competent in Microsoft range of applications particularly with Excel.
• Familiarity with reporting software such as Query Studio is desirable.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Understanding of MOD systems and data
• Understanding of Demand planning using system-based techniques
• Knowledge of SQL is desirable but not essential
