Job summary

Inter Miami CF is seeking an Intern, Software Engineer for the Number 10 Internship program. You will support internal web apps and tools across front-end and back-end development, contributing to scalable solutions for improved data access and operations.

This paid, part-time internship spans the 2027 Sprint Season cohort with start on January 11, 2027 and end on June 4, 2027, requiring fewer than 20 hours per week. Candidates pursuing CS/SE/IS degrees or recent grads are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, or recently graduated from a related program.
• Knowledge of front-end and back-end development and general software development principles
• Experience or coursework using programming languages such as PHP, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar
• Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, APIs, and web application development
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development concepts
• Familiarity with Git/version control and software development workflows is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is a plus
• Passion for fútbol is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of internal web applications and tools
• Contribute to both front-end and back-end development
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using PHP, Java, JavaScript, or similar programming languages
• Develop and maintain integrations between internal applications, databases, APIs, and third-party systems
• Work with SQL and relational databases to retrieve, manage, and structure data used by internal applications
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications and technical solutions
• Collaborate with the BI team and other departments to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Support the documentation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of internally developed applications
• Research and apply software development best practices and emerging technologies

Position Summary:

Inter Miami CF is looking for an Intern, Software Engineer to support the development of internal applications, tools, and technology solutions. This is a paid, part-time internship within our Number 10 Internship program for the 2027 Sprint Season cohort.
