Job summary

Cypress HCM in Lehi, Utah, is seeking a BI Developer 3 on a contract basis to design, develop, and optimize dashboards and reports using Power BI across finance systems.

You will build data models in Databricks and SQL Server, craft ETL workflows, gather requirements from stakeholders, and deliver BI projects with a focus on accuracy and performance. Hybrid work arrangement in Utah.

Qualifications

Strong experience with Power BI dashboard and report development.
Advanced SQL Server and T-SQL skills.
Experience building and optimizing data models.
Hands‑on ETL development experience.
Experience working within Databricks environments.
Strong data visualization and business intelligence background.
Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into business insights.
Ability to gather requirements directly from stakeholders and deliver reporting solutions independently.
Python experience preferred.
Experience with Tableau is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Analytics, or related discipline preferred; equivalent practical experience accepted.
