An established industry player is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on developing innovative BI solutions and processing large data sets while collaborating with professionals to meet organizational analytic needs. Position Summary:
The Business Intelligence Developer reports to a Data Trust Analytic Team Leader or other data governance leadership and supports data analytics, performance measures, data collection, reporting, visualization, and dissemination. This role focuses on developing BI solutions, processing large data sets, and collaborating with professionals to address organizational analytic needs. Responsibilities include assisting in researching and implementing analytic solutions, maintaining BI tools, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring effective use of BI applications for decision-making. Additionally, the Business Intelligence Developer works with analytic teams and data engineers to enhance data architecture, contribute to process improvements, support custom app development, and help optimize visualization tools and infrastructure design.
Education:
* Bachelor's degree required.
* Master's degree strongly preferred.
Required Licensure Certification, etc:
* EDW internal certification required within 6 months.
* Epic Caboodle or Clarity Certification strongly preferred.
Work Experience:
* Requires a minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare IT, analytics, software development or data management.
* Strong SQL skills with the ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
* Proficient in Business Intelligence development tools, including Tableau and Power BI, with a strong ability to design interactive dashboards, create data visualizations, and optimize reporting solutions for business insights.
* Understanding of healthcare data regulations, including HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and ICD-10 coding, to ensure data security, interoperability, and compliance in hospital analytics strongly preferred.
* Hands-on experience extracting, analyzing, and integrating data from hospital systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech, supporting clinical and operational reporting needs strongly preferred.
Salary Range: Minimum $45.97/hour - Maximum $80.46/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
