JOB OVERVIEW

Build and maintain the technical infrastructure and architecture of business intelligence (BI) solutions. Create and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, data models, ETL processes, and BI platforms, and ensure that the data is accurate, secure, and accessible for analysis. Develop and deploy dashboards, reports, and other BI applications, using various programming languages and frameworks to deliver interactive and user-friendly data products. Test, debug, and troubleshoot data quality, security, and performance issues that arise. Maintain and update existing BI solutions to ensure compatibility and functionality. Collaborate with BI Analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide technical support and guidance.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Develop and maintain reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights and data visualization.
• Learn and comprehend intricate database domains and relationships to enhance data analysis capabilities.
• Utilize strong SQL skills to query and manipulate data for analysis and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand reporting needs.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges and optimize reporting processes.
• Work within an agile software development process to ensure timely delivery of BI solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics or similar, or equivalent experience
• 2+ Years experience using SQL languages to create and manipulate data in relational databases and data warehouses (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift)
• Solid understanding of Data Visualization concepts
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Proficiency in Power BI for creating interactive and visually compelling reports.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in the context of data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
• Ability to quickly grasp and navigate complex database structures and relationships.
