Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated healthcare analyst to join the Quality and Safety Analytics team. This role advances performance improvement efforts by transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights for clinical and operational leaders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with healthcare data, strong data visualization skills (Excel, Tableau), and a demonstrated commitment to collaboration in a service-oriented, mission-driven environment. This position plays a critical role in supporting initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and drive system-wide quality improvement.

Responsibilities
  1. Business Intelligence Management: The Business Intel Analyst II manages business intelligence by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting, reporting on trends, patterns, and insights to ensure evidence-based decision-making.
  2. Data Collection & Analysis: Collects, aggregates, and analyzes data from multiple sources, driving insights into business and market performance.
  3. Reporting & Insights: Produces clear and actionable reports identifying key performance indicators, opportunities, risks, root causes, and business impacts.
  4. Project Participation: Participates in complex projects and initiatives, requiring cross-functional coordination impacting overall business strategy and outcomes.
  5. Leadership: The Business Intelligence Analyst III serves as the lead, managing complex projects and initiatives, and guiding cross-functional teams.
Qualifications

Experience REQUIRED: Minimum 3-4 years in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or related fields. Skills in SQL, Tableau, or Power BI are required.

Experience PREFERRED: Four or more years in healthcare or university administration providing data analytics. Advanced experience with BI tools (Cognos, SAS, SPSS, Tableau) and SQL.

Education REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, healthcare management, or related field.

Education PREFERRED: Master's degree in relevant fields.

  • Ability to lead and support cross-functional projects.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for reports and presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new tools.
