Job summary

Uline, a leading North American distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst. You will own analytics that move millions of shipments and apply advanced insights to evaluate performance, influence strategy, and improve operations across a vast freight network.

Responsibilities include translating logistics data into executive summaries, collaborating with teams to deliver actionable insights, and building models and visuals to forecast

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2+ years in analytics, business or finance.
• Experience with data intelligence, predictive analytics or AI-enabled tools.
• SQL experience preferred.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent communication and time management with attention to detail.

Position Responsibilities

• Investigate and interpret logistics data to create clear and concise executive summary memos, diagrams and presentations.

• Work with cross functional teams to provide informed, actionable insights supporting the improvement of Uline's logistics operations, processes and procedures.

• Evaluate shipping rates, surcharges and service standards to optimize logistics strategies.

• Develop data models and visualizations to support business decisions and forecast impacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• 2+ years in Analytics, Business or Finance.

• Experience using data intelligence, predictive analytics or AI-enabled tools to deliver business insights.

• SQL experience preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

• Excellent communication and time management skills with great attention to detail.
