Job description

The company is a global leader in industrial software, with a focus on the modelling and simulation of electrolyte chemistry applications, providing real-time solutions that make it possible to accurately predict the behaviour of virtually any combination of chemicals in electrolyte solutions with increased automation, cloud enabled platforms and AI.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Finance whilst also working in close collaboration with the CFO, Director of Finance, and other cross‑functional leaders across the business. You will play a critical role in driving financial analysis and supporting strategic financial decision‑making at a high‑growth software company.

You’ll not only drive financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision support, but also leverage SQL, Python, and AI‑driven tools to automate workflows, enhance reporting, and deliver predictive insights.

Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2‑3+ years of experience in strategic finance, business analytics, or data science supporting strategic, data‑driven decision‑making.
• Strong data visualisation skills (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and comfort working with large data sets.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python, with demonstrated ability in data querying, structuring, workflow automation, and integration across financial systems.
• Understanding of the principles of budgeting, forecasting, and managerial reporting.
• Exposure to financial concepts and models such as the 3‑statement financial or operating models, with the ability to collaborate with finance leadership to refine and interpret outputs.

Desired, but not essential:

• Master’s Degree in Finance, Data Science, Analytics or progress toward CFA.
• Experience at a high‑growth SaaS business.
• Familiarity with financial ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics) and Salesforce.
