Job summary

Uline, a leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst to apply analytics and AI-driven insights to shipping performance and operations across its North American freight network.

You will investigate logistics data, build models and visualizations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable recommendations that optimize rates, surcharges and service levels. Strong SQL and MS Office skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years in analytics, business, or finance.
• Experience with data intelligence, predictive analytics or AI-enabled tools.
• SQL experience preferred.

Position Responsibilities

• Investigate and interpret logistics data to create clear and concise executive summary memos, diagrams and presentations.
• Work with cross functional teams to provide informed, actionable insights supporting the improvement of Uline’s logistics operations, processes and procedures.
• Evaluate shipping rates, surcharges and service standards to optimize logistics strategies.
• Develop data models and visualizations to support business decisions and forecast impacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 2+ years in Analytics, Business or Finance.
• Experience using data intelligence, predictive analytics or AI-enabled tools to deliver business insights.
• SQL experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent communication and time management skills with great attention to detail.
