Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company is seeking a BI Analyst to lead end-to-end data visualization efforts. You will gather business requirements, build data sets and dashboards, and partner with Finance and technology teams to turn data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Visualization or Data Science, or 7 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of Hospitality/Tourism, Retail, Food & Beverage, Sports/Entertainment, or Amusement Park experience.
• Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Excel; strong attention to detail.

This position is responsible for the end-to-end building of data visualization tools by gathering and documenting business requirements; building data sets, tools, dashboards, and reports in partnership with technical team members; and presenting, supporting, and gaining adoption of these tools throughout the enterprise. The BI Analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders, Finance peers, and the technology team to develop visualization tools to transform data into actionable insights.

Job Functions:

• Work closely with business users and stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business intelligence and reporting requirements. *
• Translate business questions into clear, actionable technical specifications for reporting and analysis. *
• Partner closely with various cross-functional teams to gather data sources, evaluate inputs and outcomes, and define logic and definition. *
• Document business purpose, data sources, definitions, methodology, and description of the reports. *
• Build, design, and maintain visually compelling dashboards and reports in BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI). *
• Conduct data exploration to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. *
• Leverage data warehouse structures and cloud-based data platforms to source and organize data efficiently. *
• Present analysis results and key findings clearly and concisely to business teams and leadership. *
• Continuously refine and optimize reporting and analysis processes for better performance and usability. *
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business users, helping them interpret reports and analytics to support decision-making. *
• Provide ad hoc analysis and respond to urgent data requests when needed. *
• Train and support users on BI tools and best practices for self-service analytics. *
• Troubleshoot reporting or data issues and work with technical teams to resolve them promptly. *
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 3 year(s) of Hospitality/Tourism, Retail, Food & Beverage, Sports/Entertainment, or Amusement Park experience.
• Bachelor's Degree - Data Visualization / Data Science
  • 7 years of experience in lieu of education.

• Skilled in the use of Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time.
