Job summary

Marsh Agency (MMA) is hiring an entry-level Business Insurance Account Associate in Lexington, KY. The role supports client service tasks, data entry, and certificate issuance while learning the agency's systems and workflows.

You will work closely with the account team to process new business, renewals, and service requests, developing strong insurance knowledge and relationships with carriers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 0-12 months of prior experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and able to learn quickly.
• Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and sense of urgency; problem-solving abilities.
• Team player who can work under guidance.
• Basic prioritization and organizational skills.
• No direct carrier interactions but understands importance of carrier relationships.
• Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client service deliverables and account team tasks.
• Support account team members during high-volume periods.
• Process AMS data entry for new business, renewals and projects.
• Order and file loss runs; generate certificate holder lists.
• Order flood zones and ISO ProMetrix reports; issue certificates.
• Issue auto ID cards and other documentation as needed.
