Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking an Account Executive for Business Insurance to manage client relationships, analyze coverage needs, and drive growth across North American offices. The role combines local service with global resources from Marsh, offering a collaborative, inclusive culture.

You will negotiate with carriers, prepare proposals, and mentor junior team members while supporting clients with risk management and asset protection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum seven (7)+ years' experience in Business Insurance.
• Property & Casualty license.
• Insurance designations (CPCU, CIC, ARM, and/or AU) designations or equivalent knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
• Provide coverage analysis, risk management recommendations, negotiating coverage and pricing with carriers, preparing proposals, and resolving billing issues.
• Mentor Client Service Associates by developing policy-checking skills and coverage knowledge.
