Land O’Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Business Insights & Analytics Intern for the Animal Nutrition unit in Arden Hills, MN. This paid internship focuses on helping optimize pricing decisions and driving profitable growth through real-world projects and cross-functional collaboration.

You will work with pricing, supply chain, sales, marketing, and finance teams to analyze data and communicate insights that influence strategic direction. The program runs May–July 2027 and pays $25/hr.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with junior standing or higher.
• Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Management, Economics, or related fields.
• Demonstrated interest in using data to solve business problems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing, sales, market, and profitability data to identify business opportunities and support strategic recommendations.
• Partner with Pricing, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to understand how commercial decisions impact business performance.

Business Insights & Analytics Intern - Animal Nutrition

Pay: $25/hr
Position Duration: May 2027 - July 2027
Position Location: Arden Hills, MN

As a Business Insights & Analytics Intern, you'll work alongside business leaders to help optimize pricing decisions and drive profitable growth for the Animal Nutrition business unit. Through hands-on projects and cross-functional collaboration, you'll gain exposure to how data, market dynamics, and business strategies come together to influence decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with junior standing or higher.
• Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Management, Economics, or related fields.
• Demonstrated interest in using data to solve business problems.
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other data visualization and analytics tools.
• Coursework in analytics, statistics, pricing, economics, finance, or market research.
• Interest in commercial strategy, pricing, revenue management, or business intelligence.
• Understanding of agriculture, animal nutrition, or commodity markets.
• Previous internship, leadership, or project experience demonstrating analytical thinking.
