Job Overview
As a Business Development professional for Ryder’s FMS contractual sales products (Choicelease / SelectCare), you will deploy a Go‑To‑Market strategy for new logo attainment. The role requires strong digital/tele‑marketing sales efforts, in‑person meetings, and use of Ryder’s sales process to educate and develop prospects’ value perception of Ryder’s services. The position is based at a Ryder location and is not remote.
Hours & Schedule
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Essential Functions
- Prospect and engage prospects using tele/digital/direct mail/in‑person methods; develop pre‑sales strategy and maintain a pipeline to exceed quota revenues.
- Respond promptly to leads furnished; represent the full spectrum of Ryder services and collaborate with Customer Experience Managers and Demand Generation to transition accounts.
- Maintain a structured, organized go‑to‑market plan using CRM/Seismic (prospect tier management, reports, collaboration leads, mailings, follow‑up, opportunity and proposal management).
- Administrative tasks related to ratesheets, vehicle specifications, and package processing; participate in training and continuous improvement of sales skills.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing Administration or equivalent field (preferred).
- At least 2 years of consecutive sales experience with proven quota achievement (required).
- Good understanding of Ryder’s product offerings and ability to articulate benefits of Ryder’s services to new and prospective customers (required).
- Advanced ability to interpret financial data (required).
Travel
Compensation
- Base salary: $60,000 per year.
- Uncapped commission and bonus potential.
