B.HOM Student Living, based in Des Moines, IA, seeks a Business Development Associate to coordinate growth opportunities from evaluation to transition across multiple teams. The role emphasizes research, budgeting, and client-facing deliverables in a fast-paced setting.

You will work closely with the Vice President of Business Development to ensure timely proposals, due diligence, and smooth handoffs to operations.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to work with budgets, cash flow models, market data, and property operating information
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to develop professional presentations, proposals, trackers, and client-facing materials
• Strong research skills with the ability to gather, organize, interpret, and summarize financial, market, and operational information
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with internal teams, senior leadership, clients, and prospective clients
• Strong sense of ownership and follow-through
• Ability to anticipate next steps and proactively follow up on outstanding items
• Ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel nationally as needed
• Valid driver's license

Responsabilités

• Coordinate opportunities from initial evaluation through proposal development and transition
• Assist with prospect research and evaluation of new business opportunities
• Track client requests, deadlines, decisions, and next steps
• Prepare client materials, proposals, and presentations
• Develop client pitch decks and supporting materials
• Coordinate input from internal subject matter experts
• Document decisions and follow-up actions
• Maintain project plans and status updates
• Support transitions from BD to Operations and other teams
