Job summary

Ballard Marine Construction seeks a Business Development Representative to coordinate with the BD team, Operations, Marketing and Pursuit teams. You will initiate contact with prospective clients, attend industry events, conduct market analysis, and develop lasting client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in BD within A/E/C, strong CRM and MS Office skills, and a proven ability to win in Ballard’s power, water, industrial, and transportation sectors.

Qualifications

• Five years’ professional experience in business development within an A/E/C firm.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
• Proven track record in managing strategic client relationships and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strategic customer relationships leading to opportunities.
• Articulate Ballard’s services across Power, Water/Wastewater, Industrial, Environmental, and Transportation markets.
• Coordinate with BD, Operations, Marketing and Pursuit teams; attend tradeshows and events.
• Report market conditions, activities and trends; support new markets.
• Prepare and deliver customer presentations and pitches; ensure customer satisfaction.
