Job summary

Mountain River Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated Business Development Specialist to join our Wellsburg clinics. This full-time, field-based role focuses on growing provider partnerships and increasing patient referrals throughout Wellsburg and the surrounding area.

You will build relationships with physicians and referral coordinators, develop territory outreach plans, and track trends to identify new referral opportunities.

• Coordinate opportunities for physical therapists and clinic leaders to connect with referral sources.
• Track outreach activity, referral trends, and market opportunities to determine what is working and where additional focus is needed.
• Support community events, partnerships, sponsorships, and local marketing initiatives.
• Help clinic leaders create action plans for locations needing additional referral growth.

Overview

Mountain River Physical Therapy, part of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a relationship-driven FULL-TIME Business Development Specialist to grow provider partnerships and increase patient referrals throughout the Wellsburg and greater area.

This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys building relationships, representing a healthcare brand in the community, and turning outreach efforts into measurable referral growth.

• Full Time M-F
• Pay Range: ~$19-$25/HR + Mileage Reimbursement and Quarterly Bonus Opportunity!

Responsibilities

What You’ll Accomplish

Within your first several months, you will:

Qualifications

Preferred but not Required Experience

• 1- 2 years of experience in physician liaison work, healthcare marketing, medical sales, provider relations, community outreach, or business development.
• Bachelor’s degree (not required but a plus) or relevant clinical or healthcare experience preferred!
• Experience using Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media and digital marketing tools is helpful.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout the Wilmington territory.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• High School Diploma/ GED
