Job description

Develop the market. Understand the use case. Build qualified pipeline.

Queclink is seeking a driven Business Development professional with two to four years of experience in outbound prospecting, lead qualification, CRM management, and pipeline development. The primary focus of this role is generating new business in the United States, particularly enterprise and original design manufacturing (ODM) opportunities. This is an ideal next step for someone who has built a strong business-development foundation and is ready to take greater ownership of prospecting, qualification, and early-stage opportunity development.

The successful candidate will combine a persuasive sales personality with strong research, organization, learning agility, and consultative judgment. You will learn Queclink's products and US customer use cases in depth, ask the right discovery questions, and help connect prospects with solutions that fit their business and technical needs. You will also improve the quality of our North American Salesforce data, generate qualified appointments for sales managers, and support selected US marketing and trade-show activities.

What you will do
  • Develop new US business opportunities, with an emphasis on enterprise and ODM prospects, through targeted research, outbound calling, email outreach, networking, events, and consistent follow‑up.
  • Qualify each prospect's business need, application, technical requirements, decision‑makers, timing, and commercial potential before advancing the opportunity.
  • Complete extensive product and use‑case training and accurately match prospect needs to appropriate Queclink solutions. Consult Sales and technical team members when additional validation is needed.
  • Build and improve the North American Salesforce database by researching new accounts and contacts and cleaning, enriching, segmenting, deduplicating, qualifying, and reactivating existing records.
  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings for the appropriate sales managers and provide a clear, well‑documented handoff that includes the prospect's needs, use case, stakeholders, and next steps.
  • Shadow US sales team members on customer calls at least twice each week and join assigned customer visits, sales trips, trade shows, partner meetings, and other market‑development activities.
  • Support selected US marketing activities, including trade‑show prospect targeting, pre‑event appointment setting, outreach coordination, campaign follow‑up, and practical feedback to help global Marketing adapt messaging and execution for the US market.
What makes you a strong fit
  • Two to four years of business‑development, sales‑development, or outbound B2B prospecting experience.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting outbound B2B outreach, qualifying leads, scheduling customer meetings, and developing early‑stage pipeline.
  • Hands‑on experience maintaining and improving Salesforce or a comparable CRM, including research, data enrichment, segmentation, qualification, and accurate activity tracking.
  • Consultative approach: listens carefully, asks effective discovery questions, and avoids recommending a product before understanding the prospect's business and technical needs.
  • Strong learning retention and the ability to accurately apply detailed product, technical, and use‑case training in customer conversations.
  • Persuasive, confident, resilient communicator who is comfortable initiating a high volume of calls and emails, working toward measurable goals, and following through consistently.
  • Experience with IoT, telematics, video telematics, fleet technology, telecommunications, wireless hardware, electronics, enterprise solutions, or ODM opportunities is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to US marketing campaigns, trade shows, event outreach, lead nurture, or field marketing coordination is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, sales, marketing, business, or a related field is preferred. Ability to work regularly during Pacific Time business hours and travel within the United States, with occasional international travel, is required.
Selection process

Finalists may be asked to prepare and present a brief hypothetical two-year business‑development plan for an assigned market or product area. The exercise is intended to assess research, organization, communication, learning agility, and commercial thinking; it is not a request for confidential information or unpaid operational work.

Compensation

The expected base salary range is $72,000–$84,000 annually. Final pay will depend on relevant experience, skills, education, location, and internal equity. The position may also be eligible for variable compensation under Queclink’s Business Development compensation plan. Variable compensation is not included in the base‑salary range and is governed by the applicable plan terms.
