Job description

Job Title: Business Development Specialist

Reports To: Director of Business Development

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5pm PST

Job Type: Remote with daily travel throughout market

Compensation: $70,000-105,000/year

Company Overview: Northpoint Recovery Holdings, LLC, established in 2009, is a growing behavioral healthcare treatment platform treating adults with substance use disorder and co-occurring conditions under the Northpoint Recovery brand and adolescents with mental healthcare conditions under the Imagine by Northpoint brand. POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Business Development Specialist is responsible for outbound marketing and revenue-generating activities to obtain maximum profitability in relation to preset standards. The role includes increasing awareness and promoting Northpoint facilities and services to exclusive audiences.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Develop and execute a business plan to meet and exceed financial, market, and operational goals for your territory.
  • Service existing referral sources and establish new ones by planning and organizing daily work schedules.
  • Adjust presentation content by studying the type of referral source.
  • Effective territory planning to ensure retention and penetration of existing referral sources.
  • Work with internal teams to implement solutions for successful client/patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with team members including other BD reps, Admissions, Billing, Marketing, and other internal support functions.
  • Utilize CRM and other methods for planning, forecasting, and business intelligence.
  • Responsible for executing established KPIs.
  • Keep leadership informed of territory progress regularly.
  • Prepare and operate at trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings.
  • Provide high-quality resource support to staff and treatment team.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of business development experience within the behavioral health field.
  • Experience with adult substance abuse and adolescent populations is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and passionate about helping others.
  • Proven ability to develop long-term business relationships.
  • Proven skills in managing multiple projects and presentations simultaneously.
  • Prior experience using KIPU or other CRM systems.

  • Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to identify and resolve problematic situations effectively.
  • Comfortable analyzing information and dealing with complexity.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to handle confidential material reliably.
  • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
