Fitness Quest Physical Therapy seeks a Physician Liaison / Healthcare Marketing Specialist to grow provider partnerships and increase patient referrals across Ellenton to Fort Myers. Expect travel, mileage reimbursement, and 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, in a Florida service area.

The role supports community events and local marketing initiatives while building trusted relationships with physicians, referral partners, and hospital systems to boost referral growth and patient access to care.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in physician liaison work, healthcare marketing, medical sales, provider relations, or business development.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant clinical/healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.

• Build productive relationships with physicians, referral coordinators, case managers, hospital systems, and other healthcare partners.
• Develop and execute a territory outreach plan to increase awareness and patient referrals.
• Identify new referral opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing provider offices.

Overview

Fitness Quest Physical Therapy, part of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a relationship-driven Physician Liaison / Healthcare Marketing Specialist to grow provider partnerships and increase patient referrals for all of our clinics.

Territory & Travel: The Liaison will build and maintain relationships with physician offices and referral partners throughout the Ellenton to Fort Myers service area. Travel needs will vary based on the assigned territory and outreach routing schedule, which will determine when and where travel is needed. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

• Salary: ~$60,000+ (BOE) + quarterly bonus potential
• Travel required to cover referral bases in North Port-Southwest FL (Mileage reimbursement provided)
• 40 Hours/Week M-F

What You’ll Accomplish

Within your first several months, you will:

• Build productive relationships with physicians, referral coordinators, case managers, hospital systems, and other healthcare partners.
• Develop and execute a territory outreach plan focused on increasing awareness and patient referrals.
• Identify new referral opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing provider offices.
• Coordinate opportunities for physical therapists and clinic leaders to connect with referral sources.
• Track outreach activity, referral trends, and market opportunities to determine what is working and where additional focus is needed.
• Support community events, partnerships, sponsorships, and local marketing initiatives.
• Help clinic leaders create action plans for locations needing additional referral growth.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in physician liaison work, healthcare marketing, medical sales, provider relations, community outreach, or business development.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media and digital marketing tools is helpful.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
