Golden Care Therapy is seeking a relationship-driven Business Development Specialist to grow our referral network and help connect more children and families with high-quality ABA therapy.
This role focuses on building meaningful professional partnerships, not simply community marketing. The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare business development, provider outreach, referral development, or a related field, with experience in ABA, autism services, behavioral health, pediatrics, or developmental services strongly preferred.
Build and grow relationships with pediatricians, diagnostic providers, hospitals, therapists, schools, early intervention programs, and other organizations supporting children and families.
Develop a strategic referral network within your assigned territory and identify new partnership opportunities.
Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to educate partners about Golden Care’s services, intake process, insurance participation, and referral pathways.
Generate qualified referrals and maintain consistent follow-up with new and existing partners.
Collaborate with Intake, Clinical, and Operations teams to identify referral barriers and improve families’ access to care.
Track referral sources, outreach activity, follow-ups, and opportunities within Golden Care’s CRM.
Monitor referral and conversion trends to identify high-performing relationships and growth opportunities.
Represent Golden Care at targeted community events, conferences, resource fairs, and networking opportunities.
Identify opportunities for parent education, clinical trainings, and collaborative community initiatives.
Success will be measured through qualified referral growth, new and strengthened professional partnerships, referral-source engagement, conversion trends, consistent follow-up, and effective territory management.
Experience in healthcare business development, provider relations, referral development, or professional outreach
Demonstrated ability to build relationships that generate referrals or measurable growth
Strong communication, presentation, organization, and follow-through skills
Ability to independently manage a territory and referral pipeline
Comfortable using CRM and referral-tracking systems
Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, where required
Preferred:
Experience in ABA, autism services, behavioral health, pediatrics, developmental services, or children’s healthcare, along with an understanding of healthcare intake and insurance authorization processes.
Salary: $55,000–$75,000
Bonus opportunities tied to performance
Health and dental insurance
Competitive PTO package
Opportunity for professional growth
You are someone who builds relationships through trust, consistency, and follow-through. You know how to turn an introduction into a lasting professional partnership, are comfortable developing relationships from the ground up, and take ownership of your territory and results.
Most importantly, you are motivated by creating meaningful partnerships that help children and families access the care and resources they need.
Golden Care Therapy provides individualized in-home, clinic-based, community-based, and school-based ABA therapy for children and young adults with autism. We work closely with families, healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations to reduce barriers to care and connect families with meaningful support.
